The BIG hike October 24th to celebrate the Mountain-To-Sea Trail
Hike the new MST route through New Bern on October 24, 2009. Let's celebrate this great trail resource. See details below:
Where: Meet at 8:30am at Union Point Park, downtown New Bern, NC
Difficulty: Moderate -- we will hike from downtown New Bern to the lake (shuttle back to downtown will be provided).
What to bring: water, high energy snacks, great attitude, raingear, good walking shoes, sunscreen

Compete for Concrete Disc Golf Tourny
New Bern has a great disc golf course but it needs one major improvement... concrete tee pads. On October 10th and November 14th you can help. Compete for Concrete is a fundraiser tournament with a 9am registration and 9:30 tee off. Don't be late. Plenty of great prizes and discount coupons from One World Shoppe for ALL participants!
